About
hi! i’m serena
a Registered Dietitian who believes food is meant to nourish you, not overwhelm you.
I’m here to help you feel better in your body with guidance that’s rooted in science, not food rules. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan you can truly follow so symptoms feel more predictable, meals feel easier, and you can stop second-guessing everything you eat.
I grew up on the ice as a competitive figure skater for Team USA, and while I loved the sport, I also absorbed rigid food rules that left me with disordered thoughts about my body and how I was nourishing it. In graduate school, I fell in love with nutrition science and finally heard what my body had been trying to say for years: undereating, stress, and perfectionism don’t add up to health (and they certainly don’t make life better). That’s why my work is focused on helping you build structure without rigidity, and confidence without food rules.
As a registered dietitian, I help you connect nutrition science to real life. My work blends clear evidence with simple structure and meals you actually enjoy, so eating feels more supportive and less stressful. I’m half-Italian, I love to cook, and I believe you should be able to enjoy food while also feeling better in your body. If you’re tired of all-or-nothing thinking, plans that don’t work for your body, and food rules that run your life, you’re in the right place.

My Nutrition Philosophy
I know you don’t need more food rules; you need nutrition that works for you. Here’s what guides my practice:

Science Meets Real Life
I use evidence-based nutrition to guide every recommendation, then translate it into steps you can actually follow. Think: “add this to lunch,” “swap that at breakfast,” “want to try this recipe tonight for dinner?”.
All Foods Can Fit
You don’t have to avoid your favorite foods to reach your goals. We’ll keep them in the mix and use them on purpose by focusing on timing, portions, and pairings so you’re satisfied and still moving toward your goals.
Symptoms → Strategy
Your history, labs, symptoms, medications, and routine all matter. We’ll connect what’s happening, what’s driving it, and what’s worth changing so your plan targets the areas that make the biggest difference.
Nutrition by Addition
Instead of cutting out foods, we start by adding what helps: protein for fullness, fiber for digestion, fats for hormones. When your plate works harder for you, nourishing your body well gets easier.
