let’s work together

1:1 virtual Nutrition counseling

Nutrition can be simple: less guilt, less confusion, and more balance that actually feels good.

If you’ve been stuck in a cycle of skipped meals, grazing through the day, IBS flare-ups, and constantly second-guessing what to eat, you are not alone. Over time, this can leave you feeling disconnected from your body, frustrated by food, and unsure of what will actually help.

You want to support your health in a way that works with your life, not against it. Between work, relationships, travel, movement, and a full schedule, you need an approach to nutrition that feels clear, realistic, and sustainable.

My role is to help you feel better in your body without making food more complicated. Together, we’ll create thoughtful next steps, practical strategies, and consistent support so you can build habits that feel manageable and sustainable to finally achieve your health goals.

Does this sound familiar?

You’re juggling real life while trying to feel better in your body. Some days digestion feels fine, and other days it’s bloat, reflux, or bathroom drama out of nowhere. Maybe you’ve tried cutting foods, followed “eat this, not that,” or you got a new diagnosis and now everything feels confusing. You want expert guidance that fits your routine, supports your gut, and helps you feel more steady around food, without another set of rules.

  • Digestive symptoms like bloating, reflux, constipation, or diarrhea are making eating feel unpredictable
  • All-or-nothing eating, food guilt, or second-guessing every meal has taken the joy out of food
  • PCOS, menopause transitions, or thyroid symptoms are making it hard to know what your body needs
  • You want a simple plan that feels supportive and sustainable

Turning “what now?” into “here’s how”.

We’ll start with your story – what you’ve tried, your labs, your symptoms, and your routine – and turn the science into simple, doable steps. The aim: fewer flare-ups, more steady days, smoother energy and appetite, and meals you actually look forward to, without giving up your favorite sweet treat.

  • A tailored plan with clear, doable actions that fit your schedule
  • Practical tools: meal frameworks, recipe ideas, grocery and dining strategies, and symptom tracking
  • Ongoing follow ups for accountability and adjustments, so you feel supported with every bite

what to expect

01. Inquire & schedule

Once your initial consult is scheduled, you will receive an invitation to Practice Better and intake forms to fill out before your appointment. An insurance benefits verification will be provided for you.

02. initial consult

We review your history, labs, symptoms, and routine, then set clear goals with 1–3 action steps. I’ll set up your Practice Better journal and send a written recap so you know exactly what to do next.

03. Follow-Ups

We meet regularly (often weekly at first). We review your wins and barriers, look at journal highlights, troubleshoot meals and snacks, and adjust your goals so progress keeps moving.

04. Ongoing Support

We track symptoms, keep what helps, and update goals to fit your routine. Shift to biweekly or monthly sessions, and maintain progress with follow-ups or a package renewal.

You may have questions…
and I have answers!

Yes! I currently accept insurance in Florida, New York, Colorado, and Illinois. I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna. Every plan is a little different, so we’ll check your benefits before you start. I can do it for you, or you can [check your benefits here] with my Preauthorization of Benefits form. Self-pay is always an option, and I can provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

I work with teens and adults and welcome clients of all gender identities. For safety and consent, anyone under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian to attend their sessions.

We’ll chat about your day-to-day, health history, any labs, and what you want most from your nutrition right now. You’ll leave with 1–3 clear action steps, a simple plan you can actually follow, and a short recap so you know exactly what to do next. I’ll also set up your Practice Better journal so tracking meals, symptoms, and wins is easy between sessions.

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). In other words, I’ve completed accredited training, a 1200-hour supervised internship, and a national board exam to be able to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy. Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is personalized nutrition care that uses food and lifestyle changes to help manage specific health conditions that can only be done by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists.

I have my Masters in Nutrition Education from Columbia University and a Bachelors in Exercise Physiology and Psychology. I’m also studying for my Board Certification in Digestive Health exam.
TL;DR: I speak science, but I’ll always keep it practical and tailored to your goals & needs.

“Registered Dietitian” (RD/RDN) is a nationally recognized credential that requires accredited coursework, 1200 hours of supervised clinical training, a board exam, and continuing education. Dietitians can provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and are qualified to treat specific health conditions, whereas nutritionists typically provide general nutrition advice and cannot diagnose or treat illness. All dietitians are nutritionists, but not all nutritionists are dietitians. If you want someone who can blend the science with everyday strategies, a dietitian is your person.

Your appointment is held just for you. If something comes up, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows (less than 24 hours’ notice or missed visits without a heads-up) may be charged 100% of the session fee to the credit card on file.
Running behind? If you’re more than 10 minutes late without contacting me first, it’s considered a no-show and the same fee may apply.
Please note: insurance does not cover no-shows or late-cancel fees.

At this time, Serena Pratt Nutrition is offering all sessions through Practice Better, a secure,
HIPAA-compliant platform that’s easy to use. You will receive reminders and a link to join our session.

No. My goal is to help you make confident, informed decisions about food on your own. We’ll use meal frameworks, sample days, grocery lists, and easy swaps so you have plenty of ideas without a rigid plan. The point is to build skills you can keep—so you never need a meal plan again.

Nope. All foods can fit in a healthy diet. We’ll talk about portions, frequency, and smart pairings so your favorites stay in the mix while you still feel good and reach your goals. Think, “how can this fit into my diet?” instead of “I’m not allowed to have this.”

Not unless you want to! My approach centers on how you feel in your clothes, your energy, your symptoms, and your confidence, not the number of calories in your MyFitnessPal. If you like data, we can track patterns, protein targets, or use Practice Better journal check-ins, but tracking is never required.

Say goodbye to your diet today.
